TMC Iloilo celebrates supremacy on its 14th anniversary
The Medical City (TMC) Iloilo had a month-long celebration of its 14th anniversary on April with a series of events highlighting its supremacy in Western Visayas’ healthcare industry.
Bearing the theme “#TMCIpremacy: 14 Years of Delivering Quality Healthcare Made for You, Best for You,” TMC Iloilo’s 14th anniversary celebration kicked off with the Road to Supremacy Caravan, which went around the major streets of Iloilo City on April 12 and featured TMC Iloilo specialty centers.
The main celebration was held on April 13 with TMC FAIR (Fourteenth Anniversary in Radiance) at Iloilo Business Park’s K-Town. The exclusive street party was full of fun and was given more excitement with “Minute to Win It” Patient Partners Edition, a performance by DJ Dimas, an interactive booth, and food carts for employees.
A week-long employee appreciation was also held on April 15-19 which included various activities enjoyed by TMC Iloilo employees such as free massage, photo booth, busking, and treats, among others.
TMC Iloilo Red Coat Ambassadors extended the celebration to the patients and their folks by giving out special anniversary breakfast and treats on April 16.
TMC Iloilo also welcomed the new members of its clinical services through Adde Ultimum Ceremonia on April 25. A total of eight doctors were inducted during the ceremony to be part of TMC Iloilo’s pool of specialists in internal medicine, surgery, radiology, and anesthesiology.
Meanwhile, to honor local and media bloggers for their vital contribution to the community through excellence in healthcare journalism, TMC Iloilo held the Paglaum Media Excellence Awards on April 26 at Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo. Now in its second year, the TMC Iloilo Paglaum Media Excellence Awards bear the theme “Healthcare Resilience: Adapting, Innovating, and Thriving.” TMC Iloilo received a total of 41 awards for nine categories across four media platforms, which include television, radio, print, and digital.
TMC Iloilo’s 14th anniversary celebration was capped with the launch of the highly anticipated Healthcare Express Mobile Clinic on April 29 at the Festive Walk Parade. The said mobile clinic promises to provide reliable, convenient, and accessible diagnostic and consultation services to different communities and corporate partners across Western Visayas. Being the most advanced and comprehensive mobile clinic service in the region, it is also capable of doing medical consultations, laboratory tests, ultrasounds, drug tests, x-rays, and ECGs, among others, without going to the hospital, as these can be done on-site.
“For the past 14 years, TMC Iloilo has already proved its supremacy in Western Visayas’ healthcare landscape by providing the Ilonggos and its neighboring provinces trailblazing programs and services,” TMC Iloilo Chief Executive Officer Dr. Felix Ray Villa said.
