Of which, ischemic stroke which is caused by blood clots comprises 70% while the remaining 30% is comprised of hemorrhagic stroke which happens when blood vessels burst.
TMC Iloilo CEO Dr. Felix Ray Villa stressed that “ENLS, being the first of its kind in the region, further honed the skills and capabilities of the medical and allied health practitioners in the city and beyond.”
Aside from the productive sessions, ENLS was also highlighted by a Fellowship Night where the participants had a glimpse of the various offerings of Iloilo City, including the world-renowned Dinagyang Festival.
