TMC Iloilo improves surgical procedures with new Laparoscopic Tower
The Medical City (TMC) Iloilo is set to deliver a more efficient and improved services in its surgical facility with its new over Laparoscopic Tower from Medtronic Philippines, Inc.
Officially handed to TMC Iloilo on October 9, the said equipment is expected to level up the procedures done in the hospital’s operating room with its advanced technology which aims to shorten patient’s recovery period through minimally invasive surgery.
Furthermore, the Lap Tower is also another welcome development to TMC Iloilo being the second hospital in TMC network to have the said equipment from Medtronic Philippines, Inc. with TMC South Luzon being the first.
“We always aim to improve the quality of care we have, but we cannot do that without the expertise and research outputs and ofcourse, the contribution of the supply industry,” said TMC Network President and CEO Dr. Eugene Ramos.
He highlighted hat leading towards improved quality services should always be a partnership. “There is no way we can proceed with the great plans we have without establishing partnerships. As we expand the enterprise, we capacitate the different hospitals. We have so many opportunities that we can work together,” he added.
Meanwhile, Medtronic Philippines, Inc. Sales Representative Joanna Marie Valloso-Darilay stressed that their company and TMC has the common mission of alleviating pain and restoring health. Thus, keeping the patients on centerstage and delivering the services of greater worth.
On his part, RGBM Medical Express Sales, Inc., local partner of Medtronic in the Philippines represented by its Managing Director Atty. Don Gabriel Oligar Cariño III noted that their company envisions to have concrete partnerships with all hospitals.
“This is sort of a public-private partnership project that we’ve been entering in the hospitals. What we want is long-term partnership. With this, we will be able to share our expertise and after sales service to the hospitals,” Cariño said.
