TMC Iloilo inks partnership with JCI Iloilo Ilang Ilang for ‘Vigor Victress Women’s Health Ambassador Award’
In its aim to acknowledge the important role that women play in the modern society by giving emphasis on their health, The Medical City (TMC) Iloilo inked a partnership with Junior Chamber International (JCI) Iloilo Ilang-Ilang for the Vigor Victress Women’s Health Ambassador Award as part of the highly anticipated “Ang Ilongga Awards”.
The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing ceremony was held on June 15 in Casa Real during the Panel Interview Round of “Ang Ilongga Awards”.
Vigor Victress Women’s Health Ambassador Award is TMC Iloilo’s way of recognizing the notable contributions of an Ilongga who took the extra mile in advocating for women’s health. Moreover, this award is also a venue for TMC Iloilo to give the spotlight to women’s health.
On one hand, JCI Iloilo Ilang-Ilang’s “Ang Ilongga Awards” aims to give honor to Ilongga women who have become outstanding community leaders and impacted positive change in the society.
Out of the five finalists of “Ang Ilongga Awards 2019” namely, Adhara A. Sebuado, Dr. Arleen Joy C. Vallejo, Viden V. Elpos, April Joy P. Depamaylo and Emalyn E. Sing, TMC Iloilo will be choosing one winner who will receive a special trophy and a Women’s Health VIP Package worth P25,000. Aside from those prizes, she will also become the face of TMC Iloilo Women’s Health Center.
“We are happy to have this partnership as it is very align with our advocacy of promoting women’s health as our way of empowering women. In fact, we have recently launched our Women’s Health Center which testifies to our mantra of patient partnership and to our goal of bringing health closer to every sector of the society,” TMC Iloilo Marketing Director Prince Juliene Hermaine Celo noted.
“Ang Ilongga Awards 2019” will be culminated on July 5 with the Awarding Ceremony to be held at SM City Iloilo. On the same day, the first-ever winner of “ TMC Iloilo Vigor Victress Women’s Health Ambassador Award” will be announced.
