WV’s Heart Care Capital highlights Love Month with ‘Heart Restart Campaign’
The “Heart Care Capital of Western Visayas”, The Medical City (TMC) Iloilo highlighted the celebration of the Love Month last February with the “Heart Restart Campaign”.
Bearing the tagline “Relive, Renew, Revitalize, Restart”, TMC Iloilo’s Heart Restart Campaign aims to portray the lives of the patients who have undergone serious heart conditions but were able to survive it and still live life to the fullest after their procedures.
In line with the said campaign, TMC Iloilo conducted series of activities and events. These include the television guesting of Dr. James Catoto, TMC Iloilo Intervention Cardiologist on ABS-CBN Iloilo’s Panay Sikat last February 13 wherein he discussed ways on how to take care of one’s heart health.
Dr. Catoto was also featured at the morning program of Radyo Pilipinas on Valentine’s Day, February 14 where he talked about the various heart diseases and ways on how to prevent it.
The various heart programs and services of TMC Iloilo such the Z-BEN Package of Cardiovascular Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) Surgery, Angiogram, Angioplasty and Permanent Pacemaker Insertion were also highlighted the whole month of February on “My Health Partners: Hinun-anon sa Imo Ikaayong Lawas”, the Sunday segment of TMC Iloilo on Aksyon Radyo Iloilo.
Aside from the celebration of TMC Iloilo being considered as the “Heart Care Capital of Western Visayas” continues this March with series of events to be held in partnership with Philippine National Police (PNP) Regional Office 6 and the municipality of Pavia. TMC Iloilo will be conducting heart assessment and provide complimentary ECG vouchers to the attendees of “Heart Restart” events on these organizations for them to have their hearts checked by our experts for free.
