TMC Iloilo holds ‘Adde Ultimum Ceremonia’
The Medical City (TMC) Iloilo welcomed new doctors during its 2nd Gowning and Pinning Ceremony dubbed “Adde Utimum Ceremonia” held last February 15 at TMC Iloilo Townhall.
A total of 16 physicians were gowned and pinned. They are: Dr. Dioly Ann Arnaiz, Dr. Karen Marie Cunada, Dr. Marie Antonette Punjabi, Dr. Yvette Silubrico, Dr. Debbie Noblezada – Uy, Dr. Mary Violet Zaldarriaga, Dr. Judah Gozar, Dr. Ariel Rabanes, Dr. Trixy Chui, Dr. Christian Jeferson Diego, Dr. Mercy Yanson, Dr. Arik Paolo Isaiah De la Cruz, Dr. Johann Paulo Guzman, Dr. Bennice Leslie Robles, Dr. Maria Teresa Dy, and May Grace Noriega – Rolle.
Adde Ultimum Ceremonia does not only symbolize to the commitment of the doctors as staff with privileges to bring patients in and to practice their profession. It also symbolizes being one with TMC in its mission and vision, understanding and appreciating its values, and committing to its standards as patient partners.
Dr. Maria Sancha Pauline Apolto-Garcia led the charging of the new staff, focusing on what Patient Partnership means and how it is practiced, the tenets of TMC Iloilo vision, mission, values and the Medical Staff by-laws ending with the taking of the oath – the Pledge of Commitment to TMC Iloilo.
TMC Iloilo department heads and representatives were also present during the ceremony. These include Dr. Joan Colacion of the Department of Pediatrics, Dr. Wilfredo Polido of the Department of Surgery, Dr. Felix Ruzen Fandiñola of the Department of Anesthesiology, and Dr. Arlene Pondias of the Department of Family Medicine.
The said event was graced by TMC Iloilo CEO Dr. Felix Ray Villa, TMC Iloilo Chairman of IM Department Dr. Louis Montero and TMC Iloilo Chairman of Laboratory Department Dr. Jared Billena who also served as the guest speaker.
